Samuel’s birth

1 Now there was a certain man from Ramathaim, a Zuphitea from the highlands of Ephraim, whose name was Elkanah. He was from the tribe of Ephraim, and he was the son of Jeroham son of Elihu son of Tohu son of Zuph.
