Another old word (from wpelew, to help, to profit), in N.T. only here, Titus 3:8 ; 2 Timothy 3:16 . For a little (pro oligon). "For little." Probably extent in contrast to pro panta (for all things), though in James 4:14 it is time "for a little while." Which now is (th nun). "The now life." Of that which is to come (th melloush). "Of the coming (future) life."
