12 David brings the ark into Zion with sacrifices, and dances before it; for which Michal despises him.
17 He places it in a tabernacle with great joy and feasting.
20 Michal, reproving David for his religious joy, is childless to her death.

This place should doubtless be corrected from the parallel place, 1 ; Ch 13:8 where, instead of {bechol tzey beroshim,} which is literally, "with all trees or wood of fir," we read {bechol z oovesheerim,} "with all their might, and with
songs." This makes a good sense, while the former makes none: the LXX. have the same reading here, [en ischui, kai en odais.]
