|1||Hananiah prophesies falsely the return of the vessels, and of Jeconiah.|
|5||Jeremiah, wishing it to be true, shews that the event will declare the true prophets.|
|10||Hananiah breaks Jeremiah's yoke.|
|12||Jeremiah tells of an iron yoke;|
|15||and foretells Hananiah's death.|

Then said the prophet Jeremiah unto Hananiah the prophet, Hear now, Hananiah; The LORD hath not sent thee; but thou makest this people to trust in a lie.
