Mark 14:28

28 But after I have been resurrected, I will go ahead of you to Galilee."

Mark 14:28 Meaning and Commentary

Mark 14:28

But after that I am risen
From the dead, which, for their comfort, he assures them of; though they would be offended and discouraged at the seizing, and condemning, and crucifixion of him: I will go before you into Galilee;
the place of their nativity, and where he had often conversed with them; (See Gill on Matthew 26:32).

Mark 14:28 In-Context

26 After singing psalms, they went out to the Mount of Olives.
27 Then Jesus said to them, "All of you will run away, because it is written: I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered.
28 But after I have been resurrected, I will go ahead of you to Galilee."
29 Peter told Him, "Even if everyone runs away, I will certainly not!"
30 "I assure you," Jesus said to him, "today, this very night, before the rooster crows twice, you will deny Me three times!"
