And they laid hands on him, and took him.
] After Christ had said to Judas, "friend, wherefore art thou come?" as in Matthew; and also, "Judas, betrayest thou the son of man with a kiss?" as in ( Luke 22:48 ) ; (See Gill on Matthew 26:50).

45 So when he came, he went right up to Him and said, "Rabbi!"-and kissed Him.

47 And one of those who stood by drew his sword, struck the high priest's slave, and cut off his ear.
48 But Jesus said to them, "Have you come out with swords and clubs, as though I were a criminal, to capture Me?
