(handmaid ), one of the valiant men of Davids armies. ( 1 Chronicles 11:37 ) In 1 Chron. he is called the son of Ezbai, but in ( 2 Samuel 23:35 ) he appears as "Paarai the Arbite." Kennicott decides that the former is correct. (B.C. about 1015.)
