102You, however, have followed my teaching, my conduct, my aim in life, my faith, my patience, my love, my steadfastness,
my persecutions and sufferings that happened to me 3at Antioch, 4at Iconium, and 5at Lystra--which persecutions I endured; yet 6from them all 7the Lord rescued me.
Indeed, all who desire to 8live a godly life in Christ Jesus 9will be persecuted,
while 10evil people and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and 11being deceived.
But as for you, 12continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whoma you learned it
and how 13from childhood you have been acquainted with 14the sacred writings, 15which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
1616All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,
that 17the man of Godb may be competent, 18equipped 19for every good work.
