John 17:7-17

7 Now they know that everything 1that you have given me is from you.
8 For I have given them 2the words that you gave me, and they have received them and have come to know in truth that 3I came from you; and 4they have believed that you sent me.
9 I am praying for them. 5I am not praying for the world but for those 6whom you have given me, for 7they are yours.
10 8All mine are yours, and yours are mine, and 9I am glorified in them.
11 And I am no longer in the world, but 10they are in the world, and 11I am coming to you. 12Holy Father, 13keep them in your name, 14which you have given me, 15that they may be one, 16even as we are one.
12 17While I was with them, I kept them in your name, which you have given me. I have 18guarded them, and 19not one of them has been lost except 20the son of destruction, 21that the Scripture might be fulfilled.
13 But now 22I am coming to you, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have 23my joy fulfilled in themselves.
14 24I have given them your word, and 25the world has hated them 26because they are not of the world, 27just as I am not of the world.
15 I 28do not ask that you 29take them out of the world, but that you 30keep them from 31the evil one.[a]
16 32They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.
17 33Sanctify them[b] in the truth; 34your word is truth.
