Luke 24:50-53

The Ascension

50 Then ¹he led them out as far as ²Bethany, and lifting up his hands he blessed them.

51 While he blessed them, ³he parted from them and was carried up into heaven.

52 And they ⁴worshiped him and ⁵returned to Jerusalem ⁶with great joy,

53 and ⁷were continually in the temple ⁸blessing God.
