for 1his judgments are true and just; for he has judged 2the great prostitute who corrupted the earth with her immorality, and 3has avenged on her the blood of his servants."a3
Once more they cried out, "Hallelujah! 4The smoke from her goes up forever and ever."
And 5the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who was seated on the throne, saying, "Amen. Hallelujah!"
And from the throne came a voice saying, 6"Praise our God, all you his servants, 7you who fear him, small and great."
Then I heard what seemed to be 8the voice of a great multitude, like 9the roar of many waters and 10like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, crying out, "Hallelujah! For the Lord our God the Almighty 11reigns.
Let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory, for 12the marriage of the Lamb has come, and 13his Bride has made herself ready;
814it was granted her to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and pure"--for the fine linen is 15the righteous deeds of the saints.
And the angel saidb to me, "Write this: 16Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb." And he said to me, 17"These are the true words of God."
Then 18I fell down at his feet to worship him, 19but he said to me, "You must not do that! I am a fellow servantc with you and your brothers who hold to 20the testimony of Jesus. Worship God." For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
Then I saw 21heaven opened, and behold, 22a white horse! The one sitting on it is called 23Faithful and True, and 24in righteousness he judges and makes war.
1225His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are 26many diadems, and he has 27a name written that no one knows but himself.
