23 ed Abdon, e Zicri, ed Hanan,
24 ed Hanania, ed Elam, ed Antotia,
25 e Ifdeia, e Peniel, furono figliuoli di Sasac.
26 E Samserai, e Seharia, ed Atalia,
27 e Iaaresia, ed Elia, e Zicri, furono figliuoli di Ieroham.
28 Questi furono i capi principali delle famiglie paterne, secondo le lor generazioni; e questi abitarono in Gerusalemme.
29 Ed in Gabaon abitĂ² il padre di Gabaon; il nome della cui moglie era Maaca.
30 E il suo figliuolo primogenito fu Abdon; poi ebbe Sur, e Chis, e Baal, e Nadab, e Ghedor, ed Ahio, e Zecher,
31 e Miclot, il quale generĂ² Simea.
32 Anche costoro abitarono dirimpetto a’ lor fratelli in Gerusalemme, insieme co’ lor fratelli.
33 Or Ner generĂ² Chis, e Chis generĂ² Saulle, e Saulle generĂ² Gionatan, e Malchi-sua, ed Abinadab, ed Esbaal.

In this chapter the genealogy of the tribe of Benjamin is reconsidered, and several of the principal men and families in it are taken notice of, which were not before; or a further account is given of them, as of the sons and grandsons of Benjamin, 1Ch 8:1-5, of Ehud, 1Ch 8:5-7, of Shaharaim, 1Ch 8:8-11, of Elpaal and Beriah, 1Ch 8:12-18 of Shimhi, 1Ch 8:19-21, of Shashak, 1Ch 8:22-25, of Jeroham, 1Ch 8:26,27, of Jehiel the father of Gibeon, 1Ch 8:28-32, of Ner, and particularly Saul, 1Ch 8:33 and of Jonathan, and his posterity, 1Ch 8:34-40.
