Psalms 116:18

18 In the assembly of all your people, in the sanctuary of your Temple in Jerusalem, I will give you what I have promised. Praise the Lord!

Psalms 116:18 Meaning and Commentary

Psalms 116:18

I will pay my vows unto the Lord
(See Gill on Psalms 116:14). And the Targum here, as there, paraphrases the latter clause,

now in the presence of all his people,
thus;

``I will then declare his signs (or wonders) to all his people;''

the marvellous things he had done for him.

Psalms 116:18 In-Context

16 I am your servant, Lord; I serve you just as my mother did. You have saved me from death.
17 I will give you a sacrifice of thanksgiving and offer my prayer to you.
18 In the assembly of all your people, in the sanctuary of your Temple in Jerusalem, I will give you what I have promised. Praise the Lord!
