Keep your lives free from the love of money1 and be content with what you have,2 because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."a36
So we say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?"b47
Remember your leaders,5 who spoke the word of God6 to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate7 their faith.

Do not be carried away by all kinds of strange teachings.9 It is good for our hearts to be strengthened10 by grace, not by ceremonial foods,11 which are of no value to those who eat them.1210

And so Jesus also suffered outside the city gate17 to make the people holy18 through his own blood.1913
Let us, then, go to him20 outside the camp, bearing the disgrace he bore.2114
For here we do not have an enduring city,22 but we are looking for the city that is to come.2315
Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice24 of praise--the fruit of lips25 that confess his name.
