The rest of the acts of Aviyam, and all that he did, aren't they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Yehudah? There was war between Aviyam and Yarov`am.

Aviyam slept with his fathers; and they buried him in the city of David: and Asa his son reigned in his place.

In the twentieth year of Yarov`am king of Yisra'el began Asa to reign over Yehudah.

Forty-one years reigned he in Yerushalayim: and his mother's name was Ma`akhah the daughter of Avishalom.
