He also rebelled against king Nevukhadnetztzar, who had made him swear by God: but he stiffened his neck, and hardened his heart against turning to the LORD, the God of Yisra'el.

Tzidkiyahu was twenty-one years old when he began to reign; and he reigned eleven years in Yerushalayim:

and he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD his God; he didn't humble himself before Yirmeyahu the prophet [speaking] from the mouth of the LORD.
