Ezekiel 25:11 Meaning and Commentary

Ezekiel 25:11

I will execute judgments upon Moab
For though the Chaldeans and Arabians were the instruments of their ruin, their destruction was of the Lord; it was his hand that was upon them, and his vengeance that was executed on them, for their hard sayings against his people; for though he had spoke against them in his providence, and chastised them for their sins, yet he will not suffer others to speak against them: and they shall know that I am the Lord;
that takes part with Judah, and will avenge himself of all their enemies.

Ezekiel 25:11 In-Context

9 therefore, behold, I will open the side of Mo'av from the cities, from his cities which are on his frontiers, the glory of the country, Beit-Hayshimot, Ba`al-Me`on, and Kiryatayim,
10 to the children of the east, [to go] against the children of `Ammon; and I will give them for a possession, that the children of `Ammon may not be remembered among the nations.
11 and I will execute judgments on Mo'av; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
12 Thus says the Lord GOD: Because Edom has dealt against the house of Yehudah by taking vengeance, and has greatly offended, and revenged himself on them;
13 therefore thus says the Lord GOD, I will stretch out my hand on Edom, and will cut off man and animal from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman; even to Dedan shall they fall by the sword.
