Joshua 19:14

14 There the border went around on the north to Hannathon and ran out into the Valley of Iphtah El.

Joshua 19:14 Meaning and Commentary

Joshua 19:14

And the border compasseth it from the north side to
Hannathon
This is the northern border of the tribe, which took a circuit from the last place to this; of which and the following place we have no account; Jerom only makes mention of them as in the tribe of Zebulun:

and the outgoings thereof are in the valley of Jiphthahel;
here the northern border ended, which, Masius conjectures, was part of the valley of Carmel.

Joshua 19:14 In-Context

12 In the other direction from Sarid, the border ran east; it followed the sunrise to the border of Kisloth Tabor, on to Daberath and up to Japhia.
13 It continued east to Gath Hepher and Eth Kazin, came out at Rimmon, and turned toward Neah.
14 There the border went around on the north to Hannathon and ran out into the Valley of Iphtah El.
15 It included Kattath, Nahalal, Shimron, Idalah, and Bethlehem - twelve cities with their villages.
16 This is the inheritance of the people of Zebulun for their clans - these towns and their villages.
