8 Lay your hand on the head of your offering and slaughter it at the Tent of Meeting. The sons of Aaron will throw its blood on all sides of the Altar.

Leviticus 3:8

And he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering
The Targum of Jonathan adds here, as before,

``his right hand with strength:''

and kill it before the tabernacle of the congregation;
in the court, in any part of it; for, as Gersom says, all places were right for this; the man that brought it killed it, or the butcher, as the Targum of Jonathan says here also as on ( Leviticus 3:2 ) :

and Aaron's sons shall sprinkle the blood thereof round about upon the
altar; upon the four horns of it, (See Gill on Leviticus 3:2).

6 "If your Peace-Offering to God comes from the flock, bring a male or female without defect.
7 If you offer a lamb, offer it to God.
8 Lay your hand on the head of your offering and slaughter it at the Tent of Meeting. The sons of Aaron will throw its blood on all sides of the Altar.
9 As a Fire-Gift to God from the Peace-Offering, present its fat, the entire fat tail cut off close to the backbone, all the fat on and connected to the entrails,
10 the two kidneys and the fat around them on the loins, and the lobe of the liver which is removed along with the kidneys.
