For 1the body is not onemember, but many.
15If the footsays, "Because I am not a hand, I am not a part of the body," it is not for thisreasonaany the less a part of the body.
And if the earsays, "Because I am not an eye, I am not a part of the body," it is not for thisreasonbany the less a part of the body.
17If the wholebody were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole were hearing, where would the sense of smell be?
But nowGod has 2placed the members, eachone of them, in the body, 3just as He desired.
19If they were allonemember, where would the body be?
But now4there are manymembers, but onebody.
And the eyecannotsay to the hand, "I havenoneed of you"; oragain the head to the feet, "I havenoneed of you."
