John 5:16-21

If anyone sees his brother committing a sin not leading to death, 1he shall ask and God will for him give life to those who commit sin not leading to death. 2There is a sin leading to death; 3I do not say that he should make request for this.
4All unrighteousness is sin, and 5there is a sin not leading to death.
6We know that 7no * one who is born of God sins; but He who was born of God 8keeps him, and 9the evil one does not 10touch him.
11We know that 12we are of God, and that 13the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.
And 14we know that 15the Son of God has come, and has 16given us understanding so that we may know 17Him who is true; and we 18are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. 19This is the true God and 20eternal life.
21Little children, guard yourselves from 22idols.
