He began to build on the second day in the secondmonthbof the fourthyear of his reign.
Now these are the cfoundations which 3Solomonlaid for building the house of God. The length in dcubits, according to the oldstandard was sixtycubits, and the widthtwentycubits.
The porchwhich was in front of the house 4was as long as the width of the house, twentycubits, and the height120 ; and inside he overlaid it with puregold.
He overlaid5the emainroom with cypresswood and overlaid it with finegold, and fornamented it with palmtrees and chains.
Further, he gadorned the house with preciousstones; and the gold was gold from hParvaim.
