and say, 'Thussays the king, "6Putthis man in prison* and feed him sparingly with bread and wateruntil I returnsafely.""'

Micaiahsaid, "If you indeedreturnsafely, the LORD has not spoken by me." And he said, "7Listen, all you people."
Ahab's Defeat and Death
28 So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphatking of Judahwent up againstRamoth-gilead.

The king of Israelsaid to Jehoshaphat, "I will disguise myself and go into battle, but you put on your robes." So the king of Israeldisguised himself, and they went into battle.

Now the king of Aram had commanded the captains of his chariots, saying, "Do not fight with small or great, but with the king of Israelalone."

So when the captains of the chariotssawJehoshaphat, they said, "It is the king of Israel," and they turnedaside to fightagainst him. But Jehoshaphat8cried out, and the LORDhelped him, and Goddiverted them from him.
