For I am already being 1poured out as a drink offering, and the time of 2my departure has come.
3I have fought the good fight, I have finished 4the course, I have kept 5the faith;
in the future there 6is laid up for me 7the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on 8that day; and not only to me, but also to 9all who have loved His 10appearing.

Personal Concerns

11Make every effort to come to me soon;
for 12Demas, having loved 13this present world, has deserted me and gone to 14Thessalonica; Crescens has gone to 15Galatia, 16Titus to Dalmatia.
17Only 18Luke is with me. Pick up 19Mark and bring him with you, 20for he is useful to me for service.
But 21Tychicus I have sent to 22Ephesus.
When you come bring the cloak which I left at 23Troas with Carpus, and the books, especially the parchments.
24Alexander the coppersmith did me much harm; 25the Lord will repay him according to his deeds.
Be on guard against him yourself, for he vigorously opposed our teaching.
At my first defense no one supported me, but all deserted me; 26may it not be counted against them.
But the Lord stood with me and 27strengthened me, so that through me 28the proclamation might be 29fully accomplished, and that all 30the Gentiles might hear; and I was 31rescued out of 32the lion's mouth.
The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed, and will 33bring me safely to His 34heavenly kingdom; 35to Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
