Now when daycame, the chiefmagistratessent their policemen, saying, "Releasethosemen."

And 1the jailerreportedthesewords to Paul, saying, "The chiefmagistrates have sent to release you. Thereforecome out now and go2in peace."

But Paulsaid to them, "They have beaten us in publicwithouttrial, 3men who are Romans, and have thrown us into prison; and now are they sending us awaysecretly? Noindeed! But let them comethemselves and bring us out."

and they came and appealed to them, and when they had brought them out, they kept begging them 5to leave the city.

They went out of the prison and entered the house of 6Lydia, and when they saw7the brethren, they encouraged them and departed.
