But 1Barnabastookhold of him and brought him to the apostles and described to them how he had 2seen the Lord on the road, and that He had talked to him, and how3at Damascus he had 4spoken out boldly in the name of Jesus.

And he was with them, moving**about**freely** in Jerusalem, 5speaking out boldly in the name of the Lord.

And he was talking and arguing with the 6Hellenistic Jews; but they were attempting to put him to death.

But when 7the brethrenlearned of it, they brought him down to 8Caesarea and 9sent him away to 10Tarsus.

So11the churchthroughoutallJudea and Galilee and Samariaenjoyedpeace, being built up; and going on in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the HolySpirit, it continued to increase.

32Now as Peter was travelingthroughall those regions, he camedownalso to 12the saints who lived at 13Lydda.

There he found a mannamedAeneas, who had been bedridden**eightyears, for he was paralyzed.

Petersaid to him, "Aeneas, JesusChristheals you; get up and make your bed." Immediately he got up.

And all who lived at 14Lydda and 15Sharonsaw him, and they 16turned to the Lord.

Now in 17Joppa there was a disciplenamedTabitha (whichtranslated in Greek is calledDorcas ); thiswoman was abounding with deeds of kindness and charitywhich she continually did.

And it happened at that time that she fellsick and died; and when they had washed her body, they laid it in an 18upperroom.
