Out of one of them cameforth a rather 1smallhorn which grewexceedinglygreattoward the south, toward the east, and toward the a2Beautiful Land.
It grew up to the host of heaven and caused some of the host and some of the 3stars to fall to the earth, and it 4trampled them down.
It even5magnified itself bto be equal with the cCommander of the host ; and it removed the 6regularsacrifice from Him, and the place of His sanctuary was throwndown.
And on account of transgression the host will be given over to the horn along with the regularsacrifice ; and it will 7flingtruth to the ground and perform its will and prosper.
Then I heard a 8holyonespeaking, and anotherholyonesaid to that particularone who was speaking, "9Howlong will the vision about the regularsacrifice apply, dwhile the transgressioncauseshorror, so as to allow both the holy place and the hosteto be 10trampled ?"
He said to me, "For 112,300evenings and mornings; then the holy place will be fproperlyrestored."
