Ephesians 4:10-20 (New American Standard)

10 He who descended is Himself also He who ascended 1far above all the heavens, so that He might 2fill all things.) 11 And He 3gave 4some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as 5evangelists, and some as pastors and 6teachers, 12 7for the equipping of the asaints for the work of service, to the building up of 8the body of Christ; 13 until we all attain to 9the unity of the faith, and of the b10knowledge of the Son of God, to a 11mature man, to the measure of the stature cwhich belongs to the 12fullness of Christ. 14 dAs a result, we are 13no longer to be children, 14tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by 15craftiness ein 16deceitful scheming; 15 but fspeaking the truth 17in love, gwe are to 18grow up in all aspects into Him who is the 19head, even Christ, 16 from whom 20the whole body, being fitted and held together hby what every joint supplies, according to the iproper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself 21in love.

17 22So this I say, and affirm together with the Lord, 23that you walk no longer just as the Gentiles also walk, in the 24futility of their mind, 18 being 25darkened in their understanding, j26excluded from the life of God because of the 27ignorance that is in them, because of the 28hardness of their heart; 19 and they, having 29become callous, 30have given themselves over to 31sensuality kfor the practice of every kind of impurity with greediness. 20 But you did not 32learn lChrist in this way,
