And 1do not get drunk with wine, afor that is 2dissipation, but be 3filled with the Spirit,

4speaking to bone another in 5psalms and 6hymns and spiritual 7songs, 8singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord ;

9always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to c10God, even the Father ;

d11and be subject to one another in the e12fear of Christ.
Marriage Like Christ and the Church
22 13Wives, 14be subject to your own husbands, 15as to the Lord. 23 For 16the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the 17head of the church, He Himself 18being the Savior of the body. 24 But as the church is subject to Christ, so also the wives ought to be to their husbands in everything. 25 19Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and 20gave Himself up for her, 26 21so that He might sanctify her, having 22cleansed her by the 23washing of water with 24the word, 27 that He might 25present to Himself the church fin all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing ; but that she would be 26holy and blameless. 28 So husbands ought also to 27love their own wives as their own bodies.
