Exodus 40:29

29 He 1set the altar of burnt offering before the doorway of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting, and 2offered on it the burnt offering and the meal offering, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.

Exodus 40:29

And he put the altar of burnt offering by the door of the
tabernacle of the tent of the congregation
Of which see ( Exodus 40:6 )

and offered upon it the burnt offering and the meat offering;
either the burnt offering the meat offering of the daily sacrifice, as Jarchi interprets it, see ( Exodus 28:38-42 ) or it may be rather the burnt offering and meat offering of the consecration of Aaron and his sons, ( Exodus 29:1 Exodus 29:2 Exodus 29:18 Exodus 29:23 )

as the Lord commanded Moses;
in the places referred to.

28 Then he set up the veil for the doorway of the tabernacle.
29 He set the altar of burnt offering before the doorway of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting, and offered on it the burnt offering and the meal offering, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
30 He placed the laver between the tent of meeting and the altar and put water in it for washing.
31 From it Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet.
