"1Sixdays you shall labor and doall your work,
but the seventhday is a sabbath of the LORD your God ; in it 2you shall not doanywork, you or your son or your daughter, your male or your femaleservant or your cattle or your sojournerwhoastays with you.
"3For in sixdays the LORDmade the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested on the seventhday ; therefore the LORDblessed the sabbathday and made it holy.
"4Honor your father and your mother, that your 5days may be prolonged in the landwhich the LORD your Godgives you.
"6You shall not murder.
"7You shall not commitadultery.
"8You shall not steal.
"9You shall not bearfalsewitness against your 10neighbor.
"11You shall not covet your neighbor'shouse ; 12you shall not covet your neighbor'swife or his maleservant or his femaleservant or his ox or his donkey or anything that belongs to your neighbor."
