"Now 1these are the names of the tribes: from the northernextremity, abeside the way of Hethlon to bLebo-hamath, as far as Hazar-enan at the border of Damascus, toward the northcbesideHamath, drunning from east to west, 2Dan, one portion.
2"Beside the border of Dan, from the eastside to the westside, 3Asher, one portion.
3"Beside the border of Asher, from the eastside to the westside, 4Naphtali, one portion.
4"Beside the border of Naphtali, from the eastside to the westside, 5Manasseh, one portion.
5"Beside the border of Manasseh, from the eastside to the westside, 6Ephraim, one portion.
6"Beside the border of Ephraim, from the eastside to the westside, 7Reuben, one portion.
7"Beside the border of Reuben, from the eastside to the westside, 8Judah, one portion.
"And beside the border of Judah, from the eastside to the westside, shall be the eallotmentwhich you shall fsetapart, 25,000gcubits in width, and in length like one of the portions, from the eastside to the westside; and the 9sanctuary shall be in the middle of it.
"The allotment that you shall setapart to the LORD shall be 25,000 cubits in length and 10,000 in width.
"The holyallotment shall be for these, namely for the 10priests, toward the north25,000 cubits in length, toward the west10,000 in width, toward the east10,000 in width, and toward the south25,000 in length; and the sanctuary of the LORD shall be in its midst.
"It shall be for the priests who are sanctified of the 11sons of Zadok, who have kept My charge, who did not goastray when the sons of Israelwentastray as the 12Leviteswentastray.
"It shall be an allotment to them from the allotment of the land, a mostholyplace, by the border of the Levites.
13"Alongside the border of the priests the Levites shall have 25,000 cubits in length and 10,000 in width. The wholelength shall be 25,000 cubits and the width10,000 .
"Moreover, they 13shall not sell or exchangeany of it, or alienate this hchoice portion of land; for it is holy to the LORD.
"The remainder, 5,000 cubits in width and 25,000iin length , shall be for 14commonuse for the city, for dwellings and for jopenspaces; and the city shall be in its midst.
16"These shall be its measurements: the northside4,500 cubits, the southside4,500 cubits, the eastside4,500 cubits, and the westside4,500 cubits.
"The city shall havekopenspaces: on the north250 cubits, on the south250 cubits, on the east250 cubits, and on the west250 cubits.
"The remainder of the lengthalongside the holyallotment shall be 10,000 cubits toward the east and 10,000 toward the west; and it shall be lalongside the holyallotment. And its produce shall be food for the workers of the city.
"The workers of the city, out of all the tribes of Israel, shall cultivate it.
"The wholeallotment shall be 25,000 by 25,000 cubits; you shall msetapart the holyallotment, a nsquare, with the oproperty of the city.
"The 15remainder shall be for the prince, on the oneside and on the other of the holyallotment and of the pproperty of the city; in front of the 25,000 cubits of the allotmenttoward the eastborder and westward in front of the 25,000toward the westborder, alongside the portions, it shall be for the prince. And the holyallotment and the sanctuary of the house shall be in the middle of it.
22"Exclusive of the qproperty of the Levites and the rproperty of the city, which are in the middle of that whichbelongs to the prince, everything between the border of Judah and the border of Benjamin shall be for the prince.
"As for the rest of the tribes: from the eastside to the westside, 16Benjamin, one portion.
24"Beside the border of Benjamin, from the eastside to the westside, 17Simeon, one portion.
25"Beside the border of Simeon, from the eastside to the westside, 18Issachar, one portion.
26"Beside the border of Issachar, from the eastside to the westside, 19Zebulun, one portion.
27"Beside the border of Zebulun, from the eastside to the westside, 20Gad, one portion.
"And beside the border of Gad, at the southside toward the south, the border shall be from 21Tamar to the waters of Meribath-kadesh , to the brook of Egypt, to the 22GreatSea.
29"This is the 23landwhich you shall divide by lot to the tribes of Israel for an inheritance, and these are their several portions," declares the LordsGOD.
30"These are the exits of the city: on the 24northside, 4,500 cubits by measurement,
31tshall be the gates of the city, u25named for the tribes of Israel, threegates toward the north: the gate of Reuben, one; the gate of Judah, one; the gate of Levi, one.
"On the eastside, 4,500 cubits, vshall be threegates: the gate of Joseph, one; the gate of Benjamin, one; the gate of Dan, one.
"On the southside, 4,500 cubits by measurement, wshall be threegates: the gate of Simeon, one; the gate of Issachar, one; the gate of Zebulun, one.
"On the westside, 4,500 cubits, shall be threegates: the gate of Gad, one; the gate of Asher, one; the gate of Naphtali, one.
"The city shall be 18,000 cubits roundabout; and the 26name of the city from that day shall be, 'xThe 27LORD is there.' "
