"Like aemeryharderthanflint I have made your forehead. Do not be afraid of them or be dismayedbefore them, though they are a rebellioushouse."
Moreover, He said to me, "Son of man, take into your heartall My 1wordswhich I will speak to you and listenbclosely.
"cGo to the exiles, to the sons of your people, and speak to them and tell them, whether they listenordnot, 'Thussays the LordeGOD.' "
Then the 2Spiritlifted me up, and I heard a great3rumblingsoundbehind me, "Blessed be the glory of the LORDfin His place."
And I heard the sound of the wings of the livingbeingstouchingoneanother and the sound of the 4wheelsbeside them, even a greatrumblingsound.
So the Spiritlifted me up and took me away; and I wentembittered in the rage of my spirit, and 5the hand of the LORD was strong on me.
Then I came to the exiles who livedbeside the riverChebar at Tel-abib, and I satthere6sevendayswhere they were living, causingconsternationamong them.
167At the end of sevendays the word of the LORDcame to me, saying,
17"Son of man, I have appointed you a 8watchman to the house of Israel; whenever you hear a word from My mouth, 9warn them from Me.
"When I say to the wicked, 'You will surelydie,' and you do not warn him or speak out to warn the wicked from his wickedway that he may live, that wickedman shall die in his iniquity, but his 10blood I will require at your hand.
"Yet if you have 11warned the wicked and he does not turn from his wickedness or from his wickedway, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have 12deliveredyourself.
