"For after 3sevenmoredays, I will sendrain on the earth4fortydays and fortynights ; and I will blot out from the face of the land5everylivingthing that I have made."
56Noahdid according to all that the LORD had commanded him.
6
Now Noah was 7sixhundredyearsold when the flood of watergcame upon the earth.
7
Then 8Noah and his sons and his wife and his sons'wives with him entered the arkbecause of the water of the flood.

there went into the ark to Noahhby twos, male and female, as God had commandedNoah.
10
It came about after 10the sevendays, that the water of the floodicame upon the earth.
11
In the 11sixhundredthyear of Noah'slife, in the secondmonth, on the seventeenthday of the month, on the samedayall12the fountains of the greatdeepburstopen, and the jfloodgates of the sky were opened.
1213The rainkfell upon the earth for fortydays and fortynights.
13
On the verysameday14Noah and Shem and Ham and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah'swife and the threewives of his sons with them, entered the ark,
14
they and everybeast after its kind, and all the cattle after ltheir kind, and everycreepingthing that creeps on the earth after its kind, and everybird after its kind, mallsorts of birds.

So they went into the ark to Noah, 15by twos of allflesh in which was the breath of life.
16
Those that entered, male and female of allflesh, entered as God had commanded him; and the LORDclosed it behind him.
17
Then the floodncame upon the earth for 16fortydays, and the waterincreased and lifted up the ark, so that it roseabove the earth.

The waterprevailed and increasedgreatly upon the earth, and the arkofloated on the psurface of the water.
19
The waterprevailedmore and more upon the earth, so that all the highmountainsqeverywhereunder the heavens were covered.
20
The waterprevailedfifteenrcubitshigher, 17and the mountains were covered.

22
of all that was on the dryland, all19in whosenostrils was the breath of the spirit of life, died.
23
Thus He blotted out teverylivingthing that was upon the face of the land, from man to animals to creepingthings and to birds of the usky, and they were blotted out from the earth ; and only20Noah was left, together with those that were with him in the ark.
