8Bring out the peoplewho are 1blind, even though they haveeyes, And the deaf, even though they have ears.
9All the nations have 2gatheredtogether So that the peoples may be assembled. Who among them can 3declarethis And proclaim to us the formerthings? Let them present4their witnesses5that they may be justified, Or let them hear and say, "It is true."
"You are 6My witnesses," declares the LORD, "And 7My servantwhom I have chosen, So that you may know and believe Me And understand that 8I am He. 9Before Me there was noGodformed, And there will be noneafter Me.
"I, even I, am the LORD, And there is no10savior11besides Me.
"It is I who have declared and saved and proclaimed, And there was no12strange god among you; So you are My witnesses," declares the LORD, "And I am God.
13"Evena13from eternity14I am He, And there is 15none who can deliver out of My hand; 16I act and who can reverse it?"
14Thussays the LORD your 17Redeemer, the HolyOne of Israel, "For your sake I have sent to Babylon, And will bring them alldown as fugitives, bEven the 18Chaldeans, into the 19shipscin which they rejoice.
"I am the LORD, your HolyOne, 20The Creator of Israel, your 21King."
16Thussays the LORD, Who 22makes a way through the sea And a path through the mightywaters,
Who bringsforth the 23chariot and the horse, The army and the mightyman (They will liedowntogether and not rise again; They have been 24quenched and extinguished like a wick ):
"25Do not call to mind the formerthings, Or ponderthings of the past.
