9All the nations have 1gatheredtogether So that the peoples may be assembled. Who among them can 2declarethis And proclaim to us the formerthings? Let them present3their witnesses4that they may be justified, Or let them hear and say, "It is true."
"You are 5My witnesses," declares the LORD, "And 6My servantwhom I have chosen, So that you may know and believe Me And understand that 7I am He. 8Before Me there was noGodformed, And there will be noneafter Me.
"I, even I, am the LORD, And there is no9savior10besides Me.
"It is I who have declared and saved and proclaimed, And there was no11strange god among you; So you are My witnesses," declares the LORD, "And I am God.
13"Evena12from eternity13I am He, And there is 14none who can deliver out of My hand; 15I act and who can reverse it?"
14Thussays the LORD your 16Redeemer, the HolyOne of Israel, "For your sake I have sent to Babylon, And will bring them alldown as fugitives, bEven the 17Chaldeans, into the 18shipscin which they rejoice.
"I am the LORD, your HolyOne, 19The Creator of Israel, your 20King."
16Thussays the LORD, Who 21makes a way through the sea And a path through the mightywaters,
Who bringsforth the 22chariot and the horse, The army and the mightyman (They will liedowntogether and not rise again; They have been 23quenched and extinguished like a wick ):
"24Do not call to mind the formerthings, Or ponderthings of the past.
19"Behold, I will dosomething25new, Now it will springforth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even26make a roadway in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert.
