Jesussaid, "Remove the stone."Martha, the sister of the deceased, said to Him, "Lord, by thistime there will be a stench, for he has been dead 1fourdays."

Jesussaid to her, "2Did I not say to you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?"

So they removed the 3stone. ThenJesus4raised His eyes, and said, "5Father, I thank You that You have heard Me.

"I knew that You alwayshear Me; but 6because of the peoplestandingaround I said it, so that they may believe that 7You sent Me."

When He had saidthesethings, He cried out with a loudvoice, "Lazarus, comeforth."

The man who had diedcameforth, 8boundhand and foot with wrappings, and 9his face was wrappedaround with a cloth. Jesussaid to them, "Unbind him, and let him go."
