and she saw1twoangels in whitesitting, one at the head and one at the feet, where the body of Jesus had been lying.

And they said to her, "2Woman, why are you weeping?" She said to them, "Because3they have takenaway my Lord, and I do not knowwhere they have laid Him."

When she had saidthis, she turnedaround and 4sawJesusstanding there, and 5did not know that it was Jesus.

Jesussaid to her, "6Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?"Supposing Him to be the gardener, she said to Him, "Sir, if you have carried Him away, tell me where you have laid Him, and I will take Him away."

Jesussaid to her, "Mary!" She turned and said to Him 7in Hebrew, "8Rabboni!" (whichmeans, Teacher ).

Jesussaid to her, "Stopclinging to Me, for I have not yetascended to the Father; but go to 9My brethren and say to them, 'I 10ascend to My Father and your Father, and My God and your God.' "

11MaryMagdalenecame, 12announcing to the disciples, "I have seen the Lord," and that He had saidthesethings to her.
Jesus among His Disciples
19So when it was evening on that day, the first day of the week, and when the doors were shutwhere the disciples were, for 13fear of the Jews, Jesuscame and stood in their midst and said to them, "14Peace be with you."

And when He had saidthis, 15He showed them both His hands and His side. The disciplesthen16rejoiced when they saw the Lord.

SoJesussaid to them again, "17Peace be with you; 18as the Father has sent Me, I alsosend you."

And when He had saidthis, He breathed on them and said to them, "Receive the HolySpirit.
