So the otherdisciple who 1had firstcome to the tombthenalsoentered, and he saw and believed.

For as yet2they did not understand the Scripture, 3that He mustriseagain from the dead.

So the discipleswentawayagain4to their ownhomes.

5But Mary was standingoutside the tombweeping; and so, as she wept, she 6stooped and looked into the tomb;

and she saw7twoangels in whitesitting, one at the head and one at the feet, where the body of Jesus had been lying.

And they said to her, "8Woman, why are you weeping?" She said to them, "Because9they have takenaway my Lord, and I do not knowwhere they have laid Him."

When she had saidthis, she turnedaround and 10sawJesusstanding there, and 11did not know that it was Jesus.

Jesussaid to her, "12Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?"Supposing Him to be the gardener, she said to Him, "Sir, if you have carried Him away, tell me where you have laid Him, and I will take Him away."

Jesussaid to her, "Mary!" She turned and said to Him 13in Hebrew, "14Rabboni!" (whichmeans, Teacher ).

Jesussaid to her, "Stopclinging to Me, for I have not yetascended to the Father; but go to 15My brethren and say to them, 'I 16ascend to My Father and your Father, and My God and your God.' "

17MaryMagdalenecame, 18announcing to the disciples, "I have seen the Lord," and that He had saidthesethings to her.
