Jesusanswered and said to them, "1Evenif I testifyaboutMyself, My testimony is true, for I know2where I came from and where I am going; but 3you do not knowwhere I come from orwhere I am going.

"4You judgeaccording to the flesh; 5I am not judginganyone.

"But even6if I do judge, My judgment is true; for I am not alone in it, but I and the Father who sent Me.

"Even in 7your law it has been written that the testimony of 8twomen is true.

"I am He who testifiesaboutMyself, and 9the Father who sent Me testifiesabout Me."

So they were saying to Him, "Where is Your Father?" Jesusanswered, "You knowneither Me nor My Father; 10if you knew Me, you would know My Fatheralso."

Thesewords He spoke in 11the treasury, as 12He taught in the temple; and nooneseized Him, because13His hour had not yetcome.

Then He saidagain to them, "I goaway, and 14you will seek Me, and 15will die in your sin; where I am going, you cannot*come."

So16the Jews were saying, "Surely He will not killHimself, will He, since He says, '17Where I am going, you cannot*come '?"

And He was saying to them, "18You are from below, I am from above; 19you are of thisworld, 20I am not of thisworld.

"Therefore I said to you that you 21will die in your sins; for unless* you believe that 22I am He, 23you will die in your sins."
