And again He said, "2To what shall I compare the kingdom of God?

"3It is likeleaven, which a womantook and hid in 4threepecks of flouruntil it was allleavened."
Teaching in the Villages
22 And He was passingthrough from one city and village to another, teaching, and 5proceeding on His way to Jerusalem.

And someonesaid to Him, "Lord, are there just a few who are being saved?" And He said to them,

"6Strive to enterthrough the narrowdoor; for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able.

"Once* the head of the housegets up and 7shuts the door, and you begin to standoutside and knock on the door, saying, '8Lord, open up to us!' then He will answer and say to you, '9I do not knowwhere you are from.'

"Then you will 10begin to say, 'We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets ';

and He will say, 'I tell you, 11I do not knowwhere you are from; 12DEPART FROM ME, ALL YOU EVILDOERS.'

"13In that placethere will be weeping and gnashing of teethwhen you seeAbraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but yourselves being thrown out.

"And they 14will come from east and west and from north and south, and will recline at the table in the kingdom of God.
