"But when you seeJerusalem1surrounded by armies, thenrecognize that her desolation is near.

"Thenthosewho are in Judea must flee to the mountains, and thosewho are in the midst of the city must leave, and 2thosewho are in the country must not enter the city;

becausethese are 3days of vengeance, so that allthings which are written will be fulfilled.

"Woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursingbabies in thosedays; for 4there will be greatdistress upon the land and wrath to thispeople;

and they will fall by 5the edge of the sword, and will be ledcaptive into all the nations; and 6Jerusalem will be 7trampledunder foot by the Gentilesuntil8the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
The Return of Christ
25"There will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earthdismay among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves,

menfainting from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

"9Then they will see10THE SON OF MANCOMING IN A CLOUD with power and greatglory.

"But when thesethingsbegin to takeplace, straighten up and lift up your heads, because11your redemption is drawingnear."

Then He told them a parable: "Behold the figtree and all the trees;

as soon* as they putforth leaves, you see it and 12know for yourselves that summer is nownear.
