1And when He had taken a cup and 2giventhanks, He said, "Takethis and share it amongyourselves;

for 3I say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine from now on until the kingdom of Godcomes."

And when He had taken some bread and 4giventhanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, "This is My body which is given for you; dothis in remembrance of Me."

And in the sameway He took the cupafter they had eaten, saying, "Thiscup which is 5poured out for you is the 6newcovenant in My blood.

"7But behold, the hand of the one betraying Me is with Mine on the table.
22
"For indeed, the Son of Man is going8as it has been determined; but woe to that man by whom He is betrayed!"

And they began to discussamongthemselveswhich one of them it might be who was going to dothisthing.
Who Is Greatest
24 And there arosealso9a disputeamong them as to which one of them was regarded to be greatest.

10And He said to them, "The kings of the Gentileslord it over them; and those who haveauthorityover them are called'Benefactors.'

"But it is not thisway with you, 11but the one who is the greatestamong you must becomelike12the youngest, and the leaderlike the servant.
27
"For 13who is greater, the one who reclines at the table or the one who serves? Is it not the one who reclines at the table? But 14I amamong* you as the one who serves.
