Luke 24:39-49

"1See My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself; 2touch Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see that I have."
And when He had said this, He showed them His hands and His feet.
While they still 3could not believe it because of their joy and amazement, He said to them, "4Have you anything here to eat?"
They gave Him a piece of a broiled fish;
and He took it and 5ate it before them.
Now He said to them, "6These are My words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things which are written about Me in the 7Law of Moses and the Prophets and 8the Psalms must be fulfilled."
Then He 9opened their minds to understand the Scriptures,
and He said to them, "10Thus it is written, that the Christ would suffer and 11rise again from the dead the third day,
and that 12repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to 13all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.
"You are 14witnesses of these things.
"And behold, 15I am sending forth the promise of My Father upon you; but 16you are to stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high."
