Nowone of the Pharisees was requesting Him to dine with him, and He entered the Pharisee'shouse and reclined at the table.

2And there was a woman in the citywho was a sinner; and when she learned that He was reclining at the table in the Pharisee'shouse, she brought an alabastervial of perfume,

and standingbehind Him at His feet, weeping, she began to wet His feet with her tears, and kept wiping them with the hair of her head, and kissing His feet and anointing them with the perfume.

Now when the Pharisee who had invited Him saw this, he said to himself, "Ifthisman were 3a prophet He would knowwho and whatsort of personthiswoman is who is touching Him, that she is a sinner."
Parable of Two Debtors
40 And Jesusanswered him, "Simon, I havesomething to say to you." And he replied, "Say it, Teacher."

"A moneylenderhadtwodebtors: oneowedfivehundred4denarii, and the otherfifty.

"When they 5were unable* to repay, he graciouslyforgave them both. Sowhich of them will love him more?"

Simonanswered and said, "I suppose the one whom he forgavemore." And He said to him, "You have judgedcorrectly."

Turningtoward the woman, He said to Simon, "Do you seethiswoman? I entered your house; you 6gave Me nowater for My feet, but she has wet My feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair.
