The discipleswent and didjust as Jesus had instructed them,

and brought the donkey and the colt, and laid their coats on them; and He sat on the coats.

Most of the crowd1spread their coats in the road, and others were cuttingbranches from the trees and spreading them in the road.

The crowdsgoingahead of Him, and those who followed, were shouting, "Hosanna to the 2Son of David; 3BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD; Hosanna4in the highest!"

When He had enteredJerusalem, all the city was stirred, saying, "Who is this?"

And the crowds were saying, "This is 5the prophetJesus, from 6Nazareth in Galilee."
Cleansing the Temple
127And Jesusentered the temple and drove out allthose who were buying and selling in the temple, and overturned the tables of the 8moneychangers and the seats of those who were selling9doves.

And He said to them, "It is written, '10MY HOUSE SHALL BE CALLED A HOUSE OF PRAYER '; but you are making it a 11ROBBERS'DEN."

And the blind and the lamecame to Him in the temple, and 12He healed them.

But when the chiefpriests and the scribessaw the wonderfulthings that He had done, and the children who were shouting in the temple, "Hosanna to the 13Son of David," they became indignant

and said to Him, "Do You hearwhatthese children are saying?" And Jesussaid to them, "Yes; have you neverread, '14OUT OF THE MOUTH OF INFANTS AND NURSINGBABIES YOU HAVE PREPAREDPRAISE FOR YOURSELF'?"
