Then He said to them, "1My soul is deeplygrieved, to the point of death; remainhere and 2keepwatch with Me."

And He went a littlebeyond them, and fell on His face and prayed, saying, "My Father, if it is possible, let 3thiscuppass from Me; 4yet not as I will, but as You will."

And He came to the disciples and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, "So, you men could not 5keepwatch with Me for onehour?

"6Keepwatching and praying that you may not enter into temptation; 7the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak."

He wentawayagain a secondtime and prayed, saying, "My Father, ifthis8cannot*passawayunless* I drink it, 9Your will be done."

Again He came and found them sleeping, for their eyes were heavy.

And He left them again, and wentaway and prayed a thirdtime, saying the samethingoncemore.

Then He came to the disciples and said to them, "Are you stillsleeping and resting? Behold, 10the hour is at hand and the Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of sinners.

"Get up, let us be going; behold, the one who betrays Me is at hand!"
Jesus' Betrayal and Arrest
4711While He was stillspeaking, behold, 12Judas, one of the twelve, came up accompanied* by a largecrowd with swords and clubs, who came from the chiefpriests and elders of the people.

Now he who was betraying Him gave them a sign, saying, "Whomever* I kiss, He is the one; seize Him."
