81For thisreason that field has been called the Field of Blood to thisday.
9Then that which was spokenthroughJeremiah the prophet was fulfilled : "2AND bTHEY TOOK THE THIRTYPIECES OF SILVER, THE PRICE OF THE ONE WHOSEPRICE HAD BEEN SET by the sons of Israel ;

114NowJesusstoodbefore the governor, and the governorquestioned Him, saying, "Are You the 5King of the Jews ?" And Jesussaid to him, "6It is as you say."12
And while He was being accused by the chiefpriests and elders, 7He did not answer.
13ThenPilatesaid to Him, "Do You not hearhowmanythings they testifyagainst You?"
And 8He did not answer him with regard to even a single dcharge, so the governor was quiteamazed.
159Now at the feast the governor was accustomed to release for the epeople any oneprisonerwhom they wanted.
At that time they were holding a notoriousprisoner, calledBarabbas.
17So when the peoplegatheredtogether, Pilatesaid to them, "Whom do you want me to release for you? Barabbas, orJesus10who is calledChrist ?"
