1 Samuel 1:15

15 But Hannah replied, "No, my lord , I am a woman oppressed in spirit; I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but I have poured out my soul before the LORD .

1 Samuel 7:6

6 They gathered to Mizpah, and drew water and poured it out before the LORD , and fasted on that day and said there, "We have sinned against the LORD ." And Samuel judged the sons of Israel at Mizpah.

1 Samuel 25:31

31 this will not cause grief or a troubled heart to my lord , both by having shed blood without cause and by my lord having avenged himself. When the LORD deals well with my lord , then remember your maidservant."
