For to me, 6to live is Christ and to die is gain.
22aBut if I am to live on in the flesh, this will mean 7fruitfullabor for me; and I do not knowbwhich to choose.

But I am hard-pressed from both directions, having the 8desire to depart and 9be with Christ, for that is verymuchbetter ;
24yet to remain on in the flesh is morenecessary for your sake.
